WarrantyIST International will offer the following warranty agreements in conjunction with IST's products. All IST products and services are tested before leaving the manufacturing facility. The warranty excludes damage from abuse, accidents, unreasonable use or modification to the product. The basic warranty includes a three(3) year warranty on the LED lamp and a one (1) year warranty on all other components. Extended WarrantyIST International will make available extended warranty plans to purchasers. The Basic Warranty includes an annual check-up including system verification, clean & touch-up. The Silver Blanket Protection Plan offers an extended list of replacement items. The Golden Blanket Protection Plan offers all items included in the Silver Plan plus the added protection of replacement insurance in case of un-repairable damage or theft. Purchase Order Terms and ConditionsSCOPE : The Terms and Conditions of sale contained herein shall apply to all quotations and offers made by and purchase orders accepted by IST. Theses terms and conditions in some instances may conflict with some of the terms and agreements affixed to the purchase order or other procurement document issued by the buyer. In such case, the terms and conditions herein shall govern and acceptance of Buyers order is conditioned upon Buyers acceptance of the terms and conditions herein irrespective of whether the Buyer accepts these conditions by a written acknowledgment, by implication, or acceptance and payment of goods ordered hereunder. ISTs failure to object to provisions contained in any communication from Buyer shall not be deemed a waiver of the provisions herein. Any changes in the terms and conditions of sale contained herein must specifically be agreed to in a writing signed by a corporate officer of IST before becoming binding on either party. All orders, offers, and contracts must be approved and accepted by IST at its home office in Cincinnati, Ohio. TERMS OF PAYMENT: Where Buyer has established credit, terms of payment shall be net thirty (30) days from date of invoice. Monetary cost require IST to charge a 1.8% per month service charge on all overdue accounts. In some contract(s), progress payments may yield more favorable pricing. In such case, the terms of payment will be specifically identified in the quotation. Unless otherwise provided, all payments will be in United States dollars. In the event that IST is required to bring legal action to collect delinquent accounts, Buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorneys fees and cost of suit. TITLES AND DELIVERIES: Sales are F.O.B. (From Origin of Business) ISTs facilities. IST will use its best efforts to ship in accordance with ISTs announced shipment schedule by the method agreed upon between IST and Buyer. ACCEPTANCE: Buyer shall accept or reject products within thirty (30) days of receipt of each shipment. Failure to notify IST in writing of non conforming products within such period shall be deemed and unqualified acceptance. WARRANTY: ISTs products and services are manufactured and developed to the highest quality standards and are tested before leaving the manufacture or design office. IST warrants that all products manufactured by or for IST under this order will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for (1) year. The warranty starts upon the Buyers invoice date. This (1) year warranty excludes damage from abuse, accidents, unreasonable use or modification to the product. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION: No information shall be deemed to be given or received in confidence by either party unless and to the extent that it is covered by a separate written agreement. FORCE MAJEURE: IST shall not be liable for any damage or penalty for delay in delivery or for failure to give notice of delay when such delay is due to the elements, acts of God, acts of the Buyer, act of civil or military authority, war, riots, concerted labor action, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of IST. The anticipated delivery date shall be deemed extended for a period of time equal to the time lost due to any delay excusable under this provision. CANCELLATION: There is a 20% restocking charge for orders canceled 30 days after receipt of order, unless otherwise agreed upon. If the cancellation or return was because of damaged product during shipment. Keep all evidences of damage and contact ISTs customer service immediately for tracking purposes and Return Material Authorization number. Depending on the product and packaging conditions, IST reserves the right to void any return(s), or charge a small refurbishment fee. ASSIGNMENT CLAUSE: IST shall not assign this order or any of its rights or obligations hereunder without obtaining the prior written consent of Buyer. APPLICABLE LAW: The terms and conditions contained herein shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the state of Ohio. SECURITY: Buyer hereby grants IST a security interest in the product and proceeds therefrom as security for payment of the purchase price. Care of "IST's Products"Any outside device is subjected to abuse from corrosive road salt, industrial fumes, mud & grime, etc.; to name just a few. A well cared for "IST'S PRODUCTS" can look like new many years later. Regular and correct care will contribute to maintaining the professional look and the value of your "IST'S PRODUCTS". Washing and waxing will protect your "IST'S PRODUCTS" from losing its luster due to the outside influences. Your "IST'S PRODUCTS" was painted will a vary durable electrically bonded, baked epoxy powder coat. The longer the dirt is left on the paint, the greater the risk of damaging the glossy finish, either by scratching if the dirt is rubbed into the paint, or simply by the chemical effect dirt particles have on the paint. Flushing the unit off with cool clean tap water after use, and waxing often is recommended. It is best not to wash and wax your "IST'S PRODUCTS" in direct sunlight. Caution: Never have your battery cables connected to the battery during washing. Never submerse your "IST'S PRODUCTS" in water because damage to the electronic components could result. It by chance there is water in the signal head, allow the unit to air dry for several days before connecting the battery to the "IST'S PRODUCTS". Do not aim the water jet into the drain hole(s) located on the bottom side of the signal head. It is recommended to tape the drain hole(s) during washing. Use plenty of water, a mild non abrasive liquid soap, and wax solution along with a soft sponge. Begin by spraying water over the dry surface to remove all loose dirt before applying the soap and sponge. Use plenty of water to rinse the unit off. Wipe everything dry with a chamois. Tar or oil should not be allowed to remain on the paint Remove as soon as possible with a cloth soaked with a tar or oil remover. Turpentine can be used as a substitutes. After applying a cleaning fluid, always wash with cool soap and water then wax accordingly. Signal Lens Gaskets and other gaskets must be pliable to seal properly. Spray with silicone or coat with talcum powder or glycerin to retain flexibility of the rubber or vinyl and to protect against freezing in the winter. Plastics and dull finishes such as signal lens, plastic lens, battery toolbox, etc., will come clean with regular washing. Caution: Do not use anything which could mar the plastic or dull the lens surface such as wax, polish, abrasive detergents or chemical cleaning solvents. Battery for your "IST'S PRODUCTS" is a "No maintenance" gel cell or lead acid "deep draw" type and only needs to be fully charged to remain useful for more than a hundred recharges. The amount of recharges depends on the voltage level before recharge and the charging current. For the longest battery life recharge as soon as possible, try to keep your battery above eleven volts loaded, and use a trickle charger maintainer that charges between one and two amps. The battery can be charged at a higher current if time to charge is more important than battery longevity. Caution: the lead acid batteries have sulfuric acid that is highly corrosive. Ventilation is important when recharging lead acid batteries. Read the cautions that are on the battery. Caution: never place a lead acid battery on its side or top, acid will begin to leak out. Storage of your "IST'S PRODUCTS" should be in a dry low humidity area with the temperature between -20 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. The unit should not be in a area of shock or continuous vibration.
